Bertha Colleps Morgan, 93, of Wildwood died July 4, 2010 at Christus Hospital St. Elizabeth in Beaumont. A lifelong resident of Beaumont until 1973, she retired from JCPenney after many years in sales and then moved to Wildwood. Bertha is survived by her husband, Arrington Morgan of Wildwood; son, Fred Morgan and his wife Sandra of Lumberton; daughter-in-law, Christine Morgan; grandchildren, Shellye Vardaman, Jason Morgan, Ted Morgan, Jr., Christie Rushing and Lara Jones; eleven great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Birdie Hues Colleps; and son, Ted M. Morgan, Sr.; and sisters, Ruth Vee Dawson, Carrie Gay and Annie Wentz. Her graveside service will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 7, 2010 at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, under the direction of Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin, Beaumont.
