Travis Lee Meadows, 47, of Fannett died July 2, 2010.  A native of Corpus Christi and resident of Tyler most of his life before moving to Fannett, Travis was an independent paint contractor. 

He is survived by his son, Kevin Wayne Terry of Tyler; father, Travis R.”Snookie” Meadows of Kountze; sisters, Megan Meadows of Kountze, Timi Lynn Trotter of Oklahoma, and Toni Meadows of Tyler; brothers Sammy Meadows of Tyler, Ricky Meadows of Vidor and Ricky Meadows of Palestine; niece, Tomi West of Oklahoma; and other brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews.  His mother, Mildred Meadows; and his nephew, Timothy Lee Marshall preceded Travis in death.

Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 7, 2010 at Broussard’s Chapel, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.  A gathering of family and friends will be Tuesday evening, July 6, 2010 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Broussard’s.
