Kevin Alexander Benedict, 46, of Beaumont, died Tuesday, June 29, 2010.  A native of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and had been a resident of the Beaumont community since 1979, Kevin was born May 27, 1964, to Diane Gilmore and Gary Benedict.  He was a heating/air conditioning technician and consultant.

Survivors include his mother, Diane Benedict; father, Gary Benedict both of Beaumont; great aunt, Nell Fears of Madison, Georgia; sister, Michele Humphrey and her husband Jeffrey of Groves, Kristin Corder and her husband Craig of Beaumont, and Anne Tatum and her husband Dana of Dacula, Georgia; half-brother, Taylor Benedict of Beaumont; nieces, Hannah, Alexandra, Claire, Lauren and Emma; nephews, Amaad, Ari, Joshua, Elijah, Cain and Gabe; and many friends in church family of Family Worship Center.

Our beloved son, brother, uncle and friend, we will miss you dearly. We find peace in knowing you are celebrating your freedom with loved ones who have gone before.

His memorial service will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, July 5, 2010, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.
