Sara V. Sastre, 91, of Beaumont, died Wednesday, June 23, 2010, at Christus Hospital St. Elizabeth.

A native of Argentina and longtime resident of Beaumont, Sara was born July 25, 1918, to Dorila and Ramon Dominguez.

Survivors include her sons, Rodolfo Sastre of Argentina and Ruben Sastre and his wife Elena of Beaumont; grandchildren, Javier Sastre, Mariana Sastre, Mark Sastre, and Chris Sastre; and nine great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Arturo Sastre; daughter-in-law, Maria Cristina Sastre; and several brothers and sisters.

Her graveside service will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, June 26, 2010, at Forest Lawn Memorial Park under the direction of Broussard’s. A gathering of her family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Friday, June 25, 2010, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.
