Doris Jean Hamblett-Hughes, 75, of Nederland, passed away Monday, June 21, 2010 at Dubuis Hospital St. Mary’s in Port Arthur.   Graveside service will be 2 pm Tuesday, June 29, 2010 at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches under the direction of Broussard’s in Nederland.   Mrs. Hughes was a native of Ft. Clark, Texas and lived in the area since 1943. She worked in various secretarial positions throughout her life and was a member of Stonegate Church of Christ.   Mrs. Hughes is survived by her daughters, Kristina Walker and her husband Wade of Justin and Terri Olvera and her husband Ruben of Nederland; sisters, Barbara Melton of Garland and Sharon Carroll of Tyler; brother, Dale Hamblett and his wife Sharon of Whitehouse; twelve grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
