Patsy Ruth Toups, 77 of Beaumont passed away Thursday, June 17, 2010 at her residence.   Funeral service will be 10:00 AM, Monday, June 21, 2010 at Broussard’s in Nederland with Reverend Monsignor Dan Malain officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches. A gathering of family and friends will be 5:00-8:00 PM with a Rosary to be recited at 6:00 PM at Broussard’s.   Mrs. Toups was a native of Morgan City, Louisiana and has been a lifelong resident of Beaumont. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Nederland.   Mrs. Toups was preceded in death by her husband, William “Bill” Toups Sr.; granddaughter, Tiffany Davalos; great granddaughter, Cianna Sky Gennusa; and three brothers. She is survived by her four daughters, Donna Ledger of San Antonio, Candy Sattler and Mike Emerson of Nederland, Kristy Davis and her husband Jim of Houston, Tammy Underwood and her husband Odie of Nederland; son, William “Bubba” Toups Jr. and his wife Juanita of West Lake, Louisiana; sister, Jacklyn Broussard of Arizona; sister-in-law, Judy Womack and her husband David of Houston; twenty five grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren.   The family would like to give a special thanks to Dr. Noori, Carmen and April of Odyssey Hospice and the employees of Texas Home Health and especially Danielle for all their support and kindness.   In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in Mrs. Toups’ memory may be directed to The M D Anderson Cancer Center 1515 Holcombe Blvd. Houston, Texas 77030.
