Myrtle McKimsey Carrague, 90, of Beaumont, died Tuesday, June 15, 2010 at Medical Center of Southeast Texas in Port Arthur.

A native of Sulfur, Louisiana, Myrtle lived in the Beaumont/Port Arthur area since 1920 and was a retired cashier for Market Basket in Beaumont.

Myrtle is survived by her sister, Bernice Broussard of Port Arthur; nephews, James Elmore White of Port Neches, and Harold Ray Guidry of Beaumont; great-great-great niece Michelle Hoban of Beaumont; and numerous other nieces, nephews and friends.

Her funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, June 18, 2010, at Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin, Beaumont, with burial to follow at Magnolia Cemetery under the direction of Broussard’s. A rosary will be recited at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, June 17, 2010 at Broussard’s.
