David James "D. J." Edwards, 25, of Winnie died June 10, 2010, from a car accident in Livingston.

A native of Florence, South Carolina "D. J." had lived in the Winnie area for ten years and worked as a cooling specialist in the Petro Chemical Industry.

Memorial service will be 6:00 PM Wednesday, June 16, 2010, at Broussard's Chapel, 134 W. Buccaneer Drive in Winnie, with a gathering from 4:00 PM until the time of service. Cremation arrangements were under the direction of Broussard's Crematorium.

"D. J." is survived by his mother, Sherie Sindle and step-father, Pete Sindle of Winnie; grandmothers, Geneva Edwards of Birmingham, Alabama and Phyllis Jones of Winnie; grandfather, William T. Jones of Houston; sisters, Kelley Richardson of Cedartown, Georgia and Katy Sindle of Winnie; brothers, Joe Carter of Cedartown, Georgia and Jacob Benjamin Edwards of Birmingham, Alabama; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and other friends.
