Frances Longoria, 53 of Nederland, passed away on Monday, June 7, 2010, at St. Luke’s Hospital in Houston.   A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 A.M., Thursday, June 10, 2010 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Port Arthur, with Reverend T.R. Blanco officiating. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Nederland. A gathering of family and friends will be held Wednesday evening at Broussard’s in Nederland from 5:00- 8:00 P.M. with a Rosary recited at 6:00 P.M.   Mrs. Longoria was a lifelong resident of Nederland and worked as an administrative assistant for Honeywell. She was Elvis’ #1 fan and loved the 50’s and 60’s music. Mrs. Longoria was the family photographer and enjoyed scrap booking. She also gave freely of her time and home being a Marine Mom to Marines traveling through the area, giving them a place to stay and a hot meal.   Mrs. Longoria is survived by her husband, Alfred Longoria of Nederland; son, David A. Longoria of Vidor; grandson, Grant D. Henry; parents, Mike and Rosie Moreno of Nederland; sisters, Vicki Villarreal and husband Geraldo, Diana Cortez, Mary Kay Imhoff and husband Cam and Michelle Solis and husband Roberto, Jr. all of Nederland; brother, Michael Moreno of Beaumont; aunt, Rachel Flores and her husband Jesse, Sr. of Nederland; Godmother, Mrs. Isabel Flores and 13 nieces and nephews and 6 great nieces and nephews.
