James Rudolph Kellogg, 77, of Nederland passed away on Sunday, June 6, 2010 at his residence.

Service will be 10:00 am Wednesday, June 9, 2010 at Broussard’s in Nederland. Interment will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches with military rites. A gathering of family and friends will be from 5:00-8:00 P.M. Tuesday evening at Broussard’s.

James was a native of Haynesville, Louisiana and has lived in Nederland for over forty years. He retired from Neches Butane as a operator with twenty-two years of service. He was a United States Navy veteran, active member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles 3743 in Port Neches and American Legion Post 493.

James was preceded in death by a sister, Catherine and a brother, Henry Alton.

He is survived by a daughter, Connie DeRouen and her husband, Tony of New Iberia, Louisiana; son, Danny R. Kellogg of Shreveport, Louisiana; brother, Eugene Kellogg of Arizona; eight grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
