Dora Lucille Garcia, 84, of Nederland, passed away Thursday, June 3, 2010 at her residence.   A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 am Monday, June 7, 2010 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Port Arthur with Reverend T.R. Blanco officiating. Entombment will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park in Groves. Arrangements are under the direction of Broussard’s in Nederland. A gathering of family and friends will be from 5 to 8 pm Sunday, June 6 2010 with a Rosary to be recited at 6 pm at the mortuary.   Mrs. Garcia was a native of Brackettville and lived in the area the majority of her life. She was a homemaker and a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Mrs. Garcia is survived by her husband of fifty-nine years, Juan J. Garcia of Nederland; daughter, Denise Harrison and her husband Tom of Beaumont; son, Jeff Garcia and his wife Susan of Houston; grandsons, Ross and Brandon Harrison of Beaumont; sisters, Beatty Hernandez and Olga DeLeon of Port Arthur, Viola Hernandez of Nederland, Helen Hammons of Bedford and Sylvia Medina of Ennis. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of other relatives and friends.   Memorial contributions in Mrs. Garcia’s memory may be directed to Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church 3648 Staff Sgt.
