Margaret Marie Ryan Galles, 88, of Cypress, died Monday, May 31, 2010 at her residence. A native of Casper, Wyoming and resident of Beaumont since 1965, Margaret was born August 5, 1921 to Mary Iona Finn and John Eugene Ryan.

Survivors include her daughters, Loretta Ann Galles Tompkins of Cypress, Teresa Marie Fox of Granger and Mary Helen Ishee of Charlottesville, Virginia; sons, John Richard Galles of Evansville, Wyoming, Anthony Charles Galles of Cypress, Henry Joseph Galles of Beaumont, Paul Eugene Galles of Leander and Christopher Robin Galles of Magnolia; brother, Charles Carlson; nineteen grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and many other loving family members.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00 a.m., Thursday, June 3, 2010, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 1115 Orange Street, Beaumont, with burial to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park under the direction of Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin, Beaumont. A gathering of her family and friends will be 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 2, 2010, with a rosary beginning at 6:00 p.m., at Broussard’s.
