James C. Goforth, 63, of Nederland passed away Friday, May 28, 2010 at the Medical Center of Southeast Texas in Port Arthur.   James was born July 5, 1946 to Jack and Hattie Goforth in Campti, Louisiana. He has lived in Nederland since 1971 and was retired as a truck driver in the transportation industry. He was also a member of the Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Nederland.   James is survived by his three daughters, Layle Rene’ Pegg of England, Barbara Taylor and her husband Calvin of Silsbee, and Kim Osgood and her husband Kenneth of Beaumont; one son, Louis Sneed of Nederland; two sisters, Brenda K. Wood of Nederland, and Patricia Wilson and her husband Phillip of Campti, Louisiana; one brother, William D. Wood of Campti, Louisiana; also nine grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.   Cremations arrangements are under the direction of Broussard’s in Nederland.
