Ethel Frances McBride, 96, of Orange, died May 28, 2010 at Harbor Hospital in Beaumont, Texas.

Mrs. McBride’s funeral will be at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, June 2, 2010 at Broussard’s in Nederland, Texas with Reverend Ruth Burch officiating. Interment will follow Magnolia Cemetery in Beaumont. A gathering family and friends is scheduled from 5:00-8:00 P.M. Tuesday evening at the mortuary.

Mrs. McBride was born in Romayor, Texas on August 21, 1913 to parents, Herman and Ada Turner. She has lived in this area since 1925. She enjoyed fishing and gardening and was an active member of Harvest Chapel in Orange.

Preceding her in death were brothers, Douglas Turner, William Johnson, Walter Johnson; sisters, Aline Stewart and Ada Marie McGuire.

Mrs. McBride is survived by her daughter, Naomi Moore and her husband Ricky Joe of Orangefield, Texas; granddaughter, Amber Lynn Crain of Houston, Texas; grandson, Russell Clayton Crain of Orange, Texas; sister, Margie Walters and her husband Gunner of Port Neches, Texas; sister-in-law, Madeline Johnson of Port Neches, Texas and numerous nieces and nephews.
