Elladee Manuel, 98, of Fannett, died Friday, May 28, 2010, at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont.

She was born June 6, 1911, in Rayne, Louisiana to Celeste Istre Thibodeaux and Joseph Thibodeaux; and moved to Fannett in 1940.

Survivors include her two children, Audrey Picou and her husband Ray and David Manuel and his wife Sandra all of Fannett; eight grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents; seven siblings; her husband, Clifford Manuel; and her grandson, Kevin Manuel.

Her funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, June 1, 2010, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont with burial to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.  A gathering of her family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with a Rosary recited at 6:00 p.m. Monday, May 31, 2010, at Broussard’s.
