Louis A. Barrow, 90, of Beaumont passed away Thursday, May 27, 2010. Born November 27, 1919, to Evelyn and Ullman Barrow in Anahuac, he was a lifelong resident of Beaumont. He graduated from Beaumont High School in 1937, and then attended Lamar University. A Registered Professional Engineer, he retired from Bethlehem Steel, where he was chief engineer of production. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife of sixty-six years, Pansy Barrow of Beaumont; son, Louis Allwin Barrow, Jr. and his wife Kathy of Humble; daughter, Judith Huddle of Beaumont; grandsons, Louis A. Barrow III, Daniel Parker, and David Parker; granddaughters, Brooke Lea Barrow and Heather Panick and her husband Daren; great-grandchildren, Piper Lea Barrow, Jaren Panick, Conner Panick, and Kiriann Panick; and numerous other family members and friends. Preceding him in death are his parents; and his son-in-law, Dwain Huddle. Mr. Barrow’s funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, May 30, 2010, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, with interment to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. A gathering of his family and friends will be Saturday, May 29, 2010, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Broussard’s.
