Betty Lou Mayo, 81, of Humble, died Thursday, May 27, 2010. Born in Beaumont, reared in Saratoga, Betty spent most of her life in Humble.

Survivors include her daughter, Michele Mayo Long and her husband Gordon of Beaumont; and two grandchildren, Chad Long of Seattle, Washington and Mallory Long of Beaumont.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Joe Mayo; and her parents, Maud Oglesbee Brackin and Ray Brackin.

A family graveside service will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 29, 2010, at Teel Cemetery in Saratoga, under the direction of Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.
