Donalee Daniel Westmoreland, 82, of Saratoga died Wednesday, May 26, 2010, at Memorial Hermann Baptist Beaumont Hospital.  Donalee was born January 28, 1928, in Leesville, Louisiana to Allen E. and Mary (Spillers) Westmoreland.  A forty-five year Saratoga resident, he was a retired heavy equipment operator with Local 450 in Nederland and a longtime member of West End Baptist Church in Saratoga.

Survivors include his wife of sixty-two years, Dorothy Westmoreland of Saratoga; children, Donna Rae Gros and her husband Geary of Saratoga, Cheryl Lynn Moore and her husband Bobby of Hamshire, and Randy Westmoreland and his wife Gale of Lumberton; six grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Anita Faye Grant; and brothers, Reon Westmoreland and Otis Westmoreland.

Funeral service will be 3:00 p.m. Saturday, May 29, 2010, at Broussard’s, 530 W. Monroe, Kountze with Reverend Bruce Crosby officiating.  Burial will follow at Old Hardin Cemetery in Kountze.  A gathering of family and friends will be Friday, May 28, 2010, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Broussard’s.
