Jack Manning, 71, of Nederland passed away Monday, May 24, 2010 at Memorial Hermann Baptist Beaumont Hospital.

Jack was born January 8, 1939 to Chester and Stella Leonard Manning in Beaumont. He was a lifelong resident of Nederland and retired as a lab tech at B.F. Goodrich with thirty-seven years of service.

He was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Nederland.

Funeral service will be 10:00 AM Thursday, May 27, 2010 at Broussard’s in Nederland with Reverend Msgr. Dan Malain officiating. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Nederland.

A gathering of family and friends will be 5:00-8:00 PM Wednesday at the mortuary.

Jack is survived by his companion, Frances Jones of Nederland; son, David Manning of Houston; daughter, Jill Cole of Beaumont; sister, Myra Thomas of Sante Fe;  his dog and best friend, “Big Girl”.
