Edward Henry Dieckow, 54, of Port Arthur passed away on Friday, May 21, 2010 at Renaissance Hospital in Groves.

Edward was born to Thomas H. and Evelyn Hobby Dieckow on November 8, 1955 in San Antonio and lived in League City before moving to Port Arthur four years ago.

Funeral service will be 2:00 PM Monday at Broussard’s in Nederland with Chaplain Wayne McEwen officiating. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Groves. A gathering of family and friends will be noon until service time Monday at the mortuary.

Edward was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Henry Dieckow.

He is survived by his mother, Evelyn Brown of Port Arthur; grandmother, Helen Dieckow of Borne; daughter, Amy McElligott of New Mexico; sons, John Edward Dieckow of Tarkington and Nathan Dieckow of Missouri; brothers, Frank Dieckow of Alabama, Paul Brown of League City and Allan Murphy of Tennessee; sister, Mary Warhola of Port Arthur; nephew, Ryan Warhola of Port Arthur;

Nieces, Abbigail Brown and Sydney Brown both of League City.
