Joe Dwane Kelly, 53, of Mexia, Texas passed away Tuesday, May 18, 2010 at his residence after a long battle with cancer.   Dwane was born on May 20, 1956 in Port Arthur, Texas to Joe and Ruth Jean Kelly. He was an avid fisherman and hunter, which he enjoyed with his family. He was an employee of Gulf States Utilities for over 15 years and retired from Southwestern Bell Telephone company.   Dwane was preceded in death by his father, Joe, and is survived by his mother Ruth Jean Kelly of Port Arthur; his wife of thirteen years, Brenda Kelly of Mexia; his daughter Amber Williams and husband, Jason of Nederland, his son, Jace Kelly and wife Crystal of Groves; his stepson Josh Tolliver and wife Tasha of Groves; his step-daughter, Joanna McCutcheon of Groves; and the loves of his life, his grandchildren, Logan Williams, Macie Williams, Brooklyn Tolliver, Madison Tolliver and Rylee Bryan; brother, Larry Kelly of Bentonville, Arkansas, Gary Kelly and wife Karen of Rockdale; and a niece, Christina Kelly of Rockdale.   A memorial service to celebrate Dwane’s life will be held at Broussard’s in Nederland on Saturday, May 22, 2010 with Reverend Neal Payne officiating. Visitation will be at 1:00 p.m. with the service to begin at 2:00 p.m.
