Benita Mazzu Brown, 65, of Beaumont died Monday, May 17, 2010, at Christus Hospital St. Elizabeth.

A native of Beaumont, she lived most of her life in the Beaumont area and worked for Jake Mazzu Produce and Bando’s.

Benita is survived by her sons, Ralph Brown and his wife Kim of Frisco, Texas and Mike Brown of Beaumont; grandchildren, Brooks Brown and Katie Brown both of Frisco, Texas and Reagan Brown of Lumberton; sisters, Marie Bando of Beaumont and Juanita St. Clair of Plano; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 A.M. Saturday, May 22, 2010, at St. Jude Thaddeus Catholic Church, 6865 Gladys, Beaumont with burial to follow at Magnolia Cemetery under the direction of Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin, Beaumont.  A gathering of family and friends will be Friday, May 21, 2010, 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. with a Christian Vigil to begin at 7:00 P.M. at Broussard’s.
