Merdley “Jerry” Sonnier Allen, 82, of Port Neches,Texas passed away Wednesday, May 19, 2010 at her residence.    Jerry was born to Donat and Dozia LeFluer Sonnier on July 9, 1927 in Oberlin, Louisiana. She lived in Port Neches since 1951 and was a member of First Baptist Church in Port Neches.   Funeral service will be 2:00 PM Sunday, May 23, 2010 at Broussard’s in Nederland with Dr. David Mahfouz officiating. Graveside service will be at 4:00 PM Sunday at Trout Creek Cemetery near Call, Texas. A gathering of family and friends will be 5:00 – 8:00 PM Saturday at the mortuary.   Jerry was preceded in death by her parents, five brothers and two sisters. She is survived by her husband, Willie B. Allen, Jr. of Port Neches; daughter, Kim Sonia Allen of Beaumont; sons, Benny Craig Allen of Westminister, Maryland, Allen Dale Eaves of Call and Kevin Bill Allen of Port Neches; sister, Bertha Schumacher of Beaumont; grandchildren, Andrew Allen and wife, Michelle, Cody Ann Robinson and husband, Patrick, James Eaves, Melissa Quebodeaux, Amy Eaves, Justin Eaves, April Stonebreaker and husband, Jeffrey, Jeremy Jensen and wife, Christina and Anders Jensen; thirteen great grandchildren, Ty David Allen, Austin John Allen, Dylan Scott Quebodeaux, Ryan Gage Quebodeaux, Samantha Grace Dixon, Hunter Allen Stonebreaker, Lance Haven Stonebreaker, Luke Ashton Stonebreaker, Jeffrey Logan Wolfe, Kadence Lynn Wolfe, Colt David Jensen, Tyler Alexis Jensen and many loving nieces and nephews.
