Everett Jack Morse 
April 30, 1921 - May 16, 2010

Everett Jack Morse, 89, of Saratoga, died on Sunday, May 16, 2010 at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont after a lengthy illness. Everett was born in Saratoga on April 30, 1921 to Thomas Nixon and Emily Jane (Waldrep) Morse. He was a retired lease operator for Mobil Oil Company and he proudly served his country during World War II in the United States Army.

 

Everett is survived by his wife, Lillian Morse of Saratoga; his daughter, Alice Carouthers of Saratoga; step-sons, Wayne Murphy, Jimmy Murphy, Alan Murphy and Larry Murphy all of Saratoga; step-daughters, Diane Seale and Peggy Cantrell both of Saratoga; brothers, Howard Morse of Vidor and Harvey Morse of Jasper; three grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren,  and numerous nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives.

 

Funeral service will be at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, May 18, 2010 at West End Baptist Church in Saratoga with Reverend Bill Campbell officiating. Burial will follow at Felps Cemetery in Thicket under the direction of Broussard’s in Kountze. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Monday, May 17, 2010 from 5:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. at the church.
