Arthur Moyer, 80, of Bevil Oaks, died Saturday, May 15, 2010.  A native and lifelong resident of the Beaumont area, Arthur was born December 8, 1929, to Rose (Prose) Moyer and William Arthur Moyer.  He was a retired manager with W.W. Grainger.

Survivors include his wife of fifty-eight years, Mildred Moyer of Bevil Oaks; son, Glen Moyer of Shreveport, Louisiana and Allen Moyer and his wife Laura of Beaumont; daughter, Carolyn King and her husband Greg of Beaumont; grandchildren, Courtney King of Dallas, Christine Moyer and Ashley Moyer both of Beaumont; and sister-in-law, Gloria Moyer of Beaumont.

His funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 19, 2010, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont with burial to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.  A gathering of his family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 18, 2010, at Broussard’s.
