Katrina Kay Kervin, 50, of Votaw died Thursday, May 13, 2010, at her residence.  Katrina was born August 15, 1959, in Houston, Texas and was a homemaker.

Survivors include her husband, Michael Joe Kervin of Votaw; father, R.E. Kervin, Sr. of Votaw; children, Wendy Powell and her husband Perry of Batson and Jennifer Houghton and her husband Shannon of Saratoga; grandchildren, Ashlan, Emily, Logan, Hayden, and Cienna; mother, Delores Cooper of Brenham;  sister, Kathryn Huebner of Needville, Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her brother, Clark Cooper and her mother-in-law, Harvlyn Kervin.

Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, May 16, 2010, at Votaw Worship Center, 3160 FM 2798, Votaw, with Reverend Jason Berry and Reverend Phil Love officiating.  Burial will follow at Votaw Cemetery in Votaw under the direction of Broussard’s in Kountze. A gathering of family and friends will be Saturday, May 15, 2010, from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the church.
