Theodore “Junior” Dahl, 82, of Kountze died Wednesday, May 12, 2010, at his residence.  Junior was born April 16, 1928, in Beaumont, Texas to Theodore Ruben and Verdie (Haynes) Dahl, Sr.. A lifelong resident of Kountze, he retired with Sun Oil Company in the maintenance department.

He is survived by his daughters, Carol Anderson and her husband Todd of Kountze and Martey Dahl Guidry and her husband Joey of Deweyville; sister, Dolores Anderson of Kountze; grandchildren, Michael Anderson and Joshua Guidry; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Donald Dahl.

Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 15, 2010, at Hwy. 326 Worship Center, 5970 Hwy. 326, Kountze with Reverend A.A. Calloway and Reverend Mike Brown officiating.  Burial will follow at Old Hardin Cemetery in Kountze under the direction of Broussard’s in Kountze.  A gathering of family and friends will be Friday, May 14, 2010, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the church.
