Estelle Stafford, 84 of Nederland passed away on Monday, May 10, 2010 at the Medical Center of Southeast Texas in Port Arthur.   Funeral service will be 2:00 PM, Wednesday, May 12, 2010 at Broussard’s in Nederland with interment to follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches. A gathering of family and friends will be 5:00-8:00 PM, Tuesday at Broussard’s.   Estelle has lived most of her life in Nederland and was the owner/operator of Estelle’s Cleaners for fifty two years in Nederland, also nominated Business Person of the Year in Nederland.   Estelle was preceded in death by her parents, also her sisters, Kathryn Horton, and Shirley Harris; her brother, Tony Stafford. She is survived by her sister, Sylvia Hanks of Port Acres; her best friend and the manager of Estelle Cleaners, Darlene Bonsall; nieces and nephews, Anna Vidrine, Bobbie Delatte, and A.R. Ferguson of Sabine Pass, Rebecca Cook, and Raymond Hanks of Port Acres, Dewayne Hanks of Nederland, Tony Dean Stafford, Kathy Durham, and Rose Stafford of Groves; also several great nieces & nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews.   The family would like to give a special thank to the staff of Odyssey Hospice.
