Gwendolyn Jo Hightower Williams, 77, of Port Arthur passed away on Sunday, May 9, 2010 at Christus Hospital St. Mary in Port Arthur.   Gwendolyn was born to Clifford Mitchell and Bernice Elizabeth Steinmyer Hightower on November 25, 1932 in Port Arthur and was a lifelong resident. She graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School and was a Red Husser.   Funeral service will be Thursday, May 13, 2010 at 2:00 PM at Broussard’s in Nederland with her grandson, Pastor Drew Lynch officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches. A gathering of family and friends will be 5:00-8:00 PM Wednesday at the mortuary.   Gwendolyn is survived by her daughters; Nancy Lynch, Linda Laughlin, Judith Gennusa and Shana Hurd. Ten grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
