Chester Harold Sykes, 77, of Port Neches passed away Wednesday, April 28, 2010 at his residence in Port Neches.   Funeral services will be 6:00 PM Friday, April 30, 2010 at Broussard’s in Nederland with Rev. Marv Howland officiating. A gathering of the family and friends will be from 4 to 6 PM Friday at the mortuary.   Mr. Sykes was born March 11, 1933 in Brinkley, Arkansas to, Wyatt and Lucille Sykes. He lived in the Port Neches area since 1967. Mr. Sykes was the owner and operator of Triangle Cartage Trucking Company in Orange for 28 years. He also served his country in the U.S. Army.   Mr. Sykes is survived by his wife Sybil Sykes of Port Neches; daughter Gale Osborne and husband Steve of Port Neches; son Rickie Roy and wife Debbie of Cedar Park; six grandchildren, Ryan Osborne, Rachel Osborne Choate, Brandon Roy, Brent Roy, Kayla Roy, and Shea Sykes; four great grandchildren, Reece Choate, Ross Choate, Ryleigh Osborne, and Keigan Osborne.
