Fae Lee Sitton 
November 6, 1919 - April 26, 2010

Fae Lee Sitton, 90, of Beaumont, died Monday, April 26, 2010, at Harbor Hospice. A native of Kirtland, New Mexico, Fae was born November 6, 1919. She was preceded in death by her husband Dr. A. O. Sitton of Liberty, Texas.

 

An experienced artist, Mrs. Sitton studied in Europe and taught oil and water color painting at her studio in Liberty for many years. She moved to Beaumont in 1994 and was a member of the Beaumont Art League.

 

She is survived by a son, Gary L. Sitton of Beaumont; two daughters, Nona Fae Wilson and Penne Sue Gibson; a sister, Ella Ruth Danoff; grandchildren, Gary Thomas Sitton, Elizabeth Sitton Morgan, George Wilson, Lee Wilson, Jimmy Wilson, Jay Wilson, Kelly Kinard, Jeff Kinard, and Chris Gibson; one great-grandchild; and two great-great-grandchildren.

 

Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m., Saturday, May 1, 2010, at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, 1350 North 23rd Street, here in Beaumont. A graveside service will be 3:30 p.m., Saturday, at Cook Cemetery in Liberty, Texas, under the direction of Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin, Beaumont. A gathering of her family and friends will be 5:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. Friday, April 30, 2010, at the church.
