Greg “Bubba” Burrows, 51, of Kountze died Sunday, April 25, 2010, at his residence.  He was born in Kountze on February 22, 1959, to Millard and Maudine (Johnston) Burrows, Sr. A lifelong resident of Kountze, he was a construction worker.

He is survived by his wife, Lisa Burrows of Kountze; daughters, Lindsay Midkiff, Stacie Golden, and Samantha Burrows all of Kountze; five grandchildren; mother, Maudine Burrows of Kountze; brothers, Millard Burrows, Jr. of Tampico, Mexico and Randy Burrows of Springfield, Oregon; working companion, Bim Johnston; mother and father-in-law, Ed and Dorothy Wooten; sister-in-law, Sherry Coffman and her husband Larry; brothers-in-law, Michael and Gary Wooten;  and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

He is preceded in death by his father, Millard Burrows, Sr.

His funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, April 30, 2010, at Happy Valley Church, 4069 Villa Rd., Kountze under the direction of Broussard’s in Kountze.  Burial will follow at Old Hardin Cemetery in Kountze.  A gathering of family and friends will be Thursday, April 29, 2010, from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the church.
