Maxine Z. Doucet, 74, of Wildwood, died April 18, 2010 at Christus Hospital St. Elizabeth.  Maxine was born in Englewood, Colorado on September 28, 1935, to Eugene Edward and Charlotte Maxine (Apt) Zidan.  A resident of Wildwood the last fifteen years, she was a retired secretary with the United States Coast Guard.

She is survived by her husband, Gerald Doucet of Wildwood; sons, Doyle A. Doucet of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and Dirk A. Doucet of Baton Rouge; brother, Robert Zidan of Thornton, Colorado; five grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.

Memorial service will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 21, 2010, at Wildwood-Village Mills United Methodist Church in Wildwood under the direction of Broussard’s, 530 W. Monroe, Kountze.  Cremation arrangements are being handled by Broussard’s Crematorium.
