Mary "Cha-Cha" Louise Maxwell 
November 18, 1934 - April 18, 2010

Mary "Cha-Cha" Maxwell, 75, of Nederland, died Sunday, April 18, 2010.  Born to William and Ramona Ramos Alvarez on November 18, 1934 in Port Arthur, Mary was a lifelong resident of Nederland.  She was a homemaker who operated a bookkeeping, notary and tax service from her home.  She worked ten years as a secretary at IUOE Local 450. 

Mary is preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Maxwell; brothers, Raymond Alvarez, Oscar Alvarez, Joe Alvarez, Tony Alvarez, Manuel (Lolo) Alvarez, Frank Alvarez, Bill Alvarez and Dan Alvarez; and sisters Cecelia (Lolly) Almond and Josephine (Cheddy) Leone.

She is survived by her daughters, Kelly Galloway and her husband Jan of Nederland; Kathy Woods and her husband Jerry of Beaumont; Kim Hooker and her husband Jimmy of Houston; brother Pete Alvarez and his wife Tessie of Cheek; grandchildren, Courtney Delage and her husband Landon, Jason Galloway, Cody Woods, Lindsey Gibson and her husband Trevor, and Jennifer Hooker.
