John Darrell Marks, 55, of Silsbee, died Friday, April 9, 2010, at his residence in Silsbee.

Darrell was a life long resident of the area and he was a welder.

He is survived by his daughter, Jessica Ann Marks of Buna; sons, Steven Marks and Jennifer Lanbert and Matthew Marks all of Buna, Tyler Marks and Dalton Marks both of Silsbee, Jack Jenkins  and his wife Jerri Gayle Jenkins of Buna, and David Hooks and his wife Heather of Fred; grandchildren, Kameron, Chloe, Lane, Skylar, Abbey, Waylon, and Kayden; brothers, David Marks and his wife Nell and Dennis Marks and his wife Lexie all of Buna and Bruce Whitehead and his wife Jackie of Evadale; sisters, Debbie Marks and Bud Killen of Silsbee, Becky Gray and her husband Larry and Keisha Warner and her husband Robert, and Vickie Whitehead and Tommy Luquette all of Buna.

Darrell is preceded in death by his wife, Kim Marks and sister, Sheryll Elmore. 

Graveside service will be 10:00 A.M. Monday, April 12, 2010, at Hooks-Cravey Cemetery in Silsbee, under the direction of Broussard's, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee.  A gathering of family and friends will be Sunday, April 11, 2010, 3:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M. at Broussard’s.
