Anderson “Andy” Paul Thornton, 26, of Village Mills, died Wednesday, April 7, 2010.

Andy was a life long resident of Lumberton.  He was an industrial x-ray technician with Team-Cooper Heat.

Andy is survived by his children, Bailey Thornton and Alyssa Brown of Wildwood; parents, Jimmy and Debbie Thornton of Wildwood; sisters, Gayle Franks and her husband Tim and Glynda Lowe all of Beaumont and Alexie Rutledge and her husband Byron of Lumberton; brothers, Gary Thornton and his wife Gina and Geoffery Thornton and his wife Amy all of Lumberton, and Austin Thornton of Camp Pendleton San Diego, California; grandparents, Robert and Polly Bradsby, PHD of Lumberton; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Andy is preceded in death by his grandparents, Z. B. and Lucille Thornton and James Carl Fairchild. 

Funeral service will be 5:00 P.M.  Saturday, April 10, 2010, at Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee with burial to follow at Resthaven.  A gathering of family and friends will be Friday, April 9, 2010, 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Broussard’s.
