Roy Wallace Stewart, Sr., 65, of Winnie died April 7, 2010, at the Winnie Community Hospital.

Roy had lived all his life in Winnie and was a retired pipeline inspector and repaired small engines at his home.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, April 10, 2010, at St. Louis Catholic Church, 315 W. Buccaneer Drive with burial to follow in Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Broussard’s. 134 W. Buccaneer Drive in Winnie.  A gathering of family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday with a rosary recited at 7:00 p.m. at Broussard’s.

Roy is survived by his daughter, Danette Stewart and her husband Joel Garza of Beaumont; son, Roy Wally Stewart, Jr. of Winnie; sister, Shirley; brothers, Herbert, James, and Alvin; grandson, Jared LaCombe of Winnie and numerous relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife Carolyn Stewart; parents, Wesley and Agnes Stewart and sister, Julia.
