Michael Elton Theriot, 58, of Port Acres died Tuesday, April 6, 2010, at The Medical Center of Southeast Texas.  Michael was born in Port Arthur, Texas on February 28, 1952, to Joseph Elton “Sonny” and Sadie (Guidry) Theriot. A lifelong resident of Port Acres, he was a retired truck driver.

He is survived by his son, Kory Theriot and his fiancé Terry Flowers of Orange; mother, Sadie Theriot of Port Acres; brother, Gerald Theriot of Beaumont; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his father, Joseph Elton “Sonny” Theriot.

Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, April 9, 2010, at Broussard’s in Nederland with burial to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Groves.  A gathering of family and friends will be Thursday, April 8, 2010, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Broussard’s.
