Shirley Faye Smallwood Young, 58, of Deweyville, died Sunday, April 4, 2010, at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont.

Shirley was born in Bessie Mae, Texas and was a life long resident of this area.

She is survived by her husband, Charles Young of Deweyville; children, Marvin Morgan, Jr. and his wife Cooney of Lumberton, Mike Morgan and his wife Terry of Silsbee, Jason Morgan and his wife Jennifer of Lumberton, Heather Austin of Lumberton, and Robert Warner, II of Covington, Utah; twelve grandchildren; two great grandchildren; sisters, Delores Gore and her husband Robert of Silsbee and Louise Kinard of Woodville; and brother, Raymond Smallwood, Jr. and his fiance' Kim of Woodville.

Shirley is preceded in death by her parents, Raymond Smallwood, Sr. and Lydia Hogue; brother, James Smallwood; and sisters, Margaret Hooks and Doris Smallwood.

Funeral service will be 1:00 P.M., Wednesday, April 7, 2010, at Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee with burial to follow at Bean Cemetery in Kirbyville.  A gathering of family and friends will be Tuesday, April 6, 2010, 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Broussard’s.
