Kenneth Joe Fletcher, age 51 passed away on March 28, 2010 in Nederland, TX.

Kenny graduated from Nederland High School in 1976 and received his degree in diesel mechanics from TSTI in Waco, TX.

Kenny was owner of Industrial Diesel Service for over 30 years and was well known for his expertise in heavy equipment and fabrication.

Kenny had a great passion for cars and trucks, but, the greatest pride and joy of his life was his son, Hunter Joe.

Hunter was the world to Kenny. The two of them loved spending time together outside, loved spending time with their beloved dog, Spike, and both enjoyed time together in the kitchen cooking various kinds of seafood. Kenny and Hunter just loved being together.

He is survived by his parents, Jim Fletcher, Frances Fletcher and Don Boden; his sister, Tamra Waghorn and husband, Mike; brothers, Bobby and his wife, Peggy, Todd and his wife, Ann; nieces and nephews, Bryan Fletcher, Jamey Fletcher, Michael Waghorn,Jr and his wife Kerby, Justin Waghorn, Chelsea Fletcher and Holden Fletcher; great niece, Rylee Waghorn and great nephew, Ronan Fletcher.

A gathering of family and friends will begin at 6:00 PM Thursday, April 1, 2010 with a memorial service at 7:00 PM at Broussard’s in Nederland.
