Joseph LoBue, 81, of Beaumont, died Monday, March 29, 2010, at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont. A native and lifelong resident of Beaumont, Joseph was born on May 30, 1928, to Josie Fertitta LoBue and Michael LoBue. He was a candy salesman.

He is survived by his sons, Ricky LoBue and Steve LoBue; daughter, Jo Ann Smalley all of Fannett; four grandchildren, Angela Smalley, Jana LoBue, Jamie Howard and Alyssa LoBue all of Fannett; seven great-grandchildren, Danielle Garn, Alex Primmier, Amber Primmier, Bradley Howard, Jayden Howard, Kristen Howard and Jenny Audilete; sister, Geneva Wessel of San Antonio; and brother, Anthony LoBue of Vidor.

Joseph is preceded in death by his wife, Betty LoBue.

His graveside service will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, April 1, 2010, at Forest Lawn Memorial Park under the direction of Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. A gathering of his family and friends will be from 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. Thursday at Broussard’s.
