Kaye Devillier Kennamer 
January 27, 1953 - March 28, 2010

Kaye Devillier Kennamer age 57, of Winnie, TX, passed away at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont, TX. on March 28, 2010. She was born on January 27, 1953, in Beaumont, TX.

Kaye graduated from East Chambers High School in Winnie and Lamar University in Beaumont. She was admired for her awesome and varied talents in the arts and the compassion and dedication she brought into those fields. She was always willing to teach and share her knowledge, enjoyed all of her endeavors, and never seemed to tire of living life to the fullest. What she often stated she enjoyed most, however, was being a wife and mother. She was very grateful that she was able to spend the most time possible during her life with her beloved husband, sons and grandchildren.

 Kaye is survived by her parents, Barbara and Richard Devillier of Winnie, sisters Christie Devillier of Portland, Oregon, Michelle Devillier, and brother and sister-in-law Richie and Wendy Devillier of Winnie. Her husband of 24 years, Harold Kennamer of Winnie, sons Coulon Devillier and children Dillon and Stephanie of  Lincoln, Nebraska, Beau Devillier and child Emily of Dallas, Barry Devillier and children Austin and Tyler of Dallas, Drew Frugia and child Brett of Roswell, New Mexico, and Cale Kennamer of Winnie. She is also survived by a large extended family and many associates and friends. All will sorely miss her presence, energy, and the gifts she shared.

Memorial service will be 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 31, 2010, Broussard’s Chapel, 134 W. Buccaneer Drive in Winnie. A gathering of family and friends will be Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at Broussard’s.

The family wishes to make known their appreciation for the excellent care and kindness received by Kaye and family from the staff at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center. In particular, Kaye expressed her sincerest gratitude to Dr. Ralph Zinner for his unfailing care, understanding and assistance in their long battle together.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to M.D. Anderson Cancer Center, Development Dept., 1515 Holcombe, Houston, TX. 77030 or the charity of one’s choice.
