Thelma Nell Caraway 67, of Silsbee died Sunday, March 28, 2010 at her home in Silsbee. Thelma was born in Voth, Texas to William and Beatrice (Leatherwood) Smith and lived in the area all of her life. She retired from Wal-Mart after 27 years of service.
Thelma is survived by her daughters, Crystal Brown and Debbie Beacham and her husband, Edward; granddaughter, Billie “Nikki” Albright; great granddaughter, Savanna Rodriguez all of Silsbee; sisters, Tracy White of Nicholson, Mississippi, Sharon Spears of Picayune, Mississippi, and Patsy Alsobrook of Pearl River, Louisiana; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her mother and father; granddaughter, Samantha Armstrong Rodriguez; sister, Anita Lynn Bennett, grandson in law, Steven Albright; and husband, Sam Caraway.
A memorial service will be 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, March 31, 2010, at Broussard's, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee.
