Georgia Pachar Lawrence, 90, of Beaumont died Sunday, March 28, 2010, in Lumberton.  She was born August 19, 1919, in Marlin,Texas. She grew up in Orange and resided in Beaumont for seventy-one years and was a homemaker.

She is survived by her daughters, Joan Conn; Mary James and her husband Richard, and Dixie McKinley and her husband Ridley; six grandchildren, twenty-two great grandchildren; and six great great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, J.C. “Jimmy” Lawrence; brother, Wallace “Buckshot” Pachar; and grandsons, Keith Allen “Redeye” Smith and Bobby George “Cat” Smith.

Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 30, 2010, at Wesley United Methodist Church, 3810 N. Major Drive, Beaumont with burial to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Beaumont.  A gathering of her family and friends will be Monday, March 29, 2010, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Broussard’s, 1605 N. Major Drive, Beaumont and Tuesday beginning at 10:00 a.m. until service time at the church.
