Louise “Granny” Holstine, 94, of Port Arthur, passed away Friday, March 26, 2010 at The Medical Center of Southeast Texas in Port Arthur.   A rosary will be recited at 3:30 pm, Monday, March 29, 2010 at Broussard’s Crematorium, 5150 Stivers Drive in Beaumont by Reverend Monsignor Dan Malain. A gathering of family and friends will be from 2:30 to 3:30 pm, Monday, March 29, 2010 at the crematorium.   Granny was a native and lifetime resident of the Port Arthur area. She was a homemaker and will be remembered for her gift of sewing, especially making pillows, and her love of the beach.   Granny is survived by her sons, Bolan Holstine of Beaumont and Eddie Holstine and his wife Linda of Nederland; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Holstine and her sisters, Betty Jo Hollier and Maude White.
