Milton Earl Nicholas 
November 28, 1926 - March 26, 2010

Milton Earl Nicholas, 83, of Beaumont died Friday, March 26, 2010, at Christus Hospital St. Elizabeth.  He was born November 28, 1926 to Antoine and Mary Edna (Richards) Nicholas.  A native and lifelong resident of Beaumont, he retired from Entex as a crew foreman following thirty years of service.  He was a longtime member of Wesley United Methodist Church and proudly served his country in the United States Navy during World War II.

Milton was an avid hunter, salt water fisherman, and amazing handyman who had an outgoing personality and never met a stranger.  He was a loving husband, guiding and supporting father, grandfather, and great grandfather.

He is survived by his wife of sixty-two years, Betty J. Nicholas of Beaumont; son, David Earl Nicholas of Pearland; daughter, Charlotte Eisen and her husband Stephen of Knoxville; sisters, Mary Luckett and Gladys Stevens; brothers, Charles Nicholas and Richard Nicholas; grandchildren, Megan Gilbert and Brett and Blake Nicholas; step-grandchildren, Eric Eisen and Emily Wheeler; and great grandchildren, Braiden and Bailey Nicholas.

His funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, March 29, 2010, at Broussard’s, 1605 N. Major Drive, Beaumont with burial to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.  A gathering of his family and friends will be Sunday, March 28, 2010, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Broussard’s.
