Kenneth “Kenny” Roberts, 37, of Beaumont, died Tuesday, March 23, 2010.  He was born July 30, 1972, in New Iberia, Louisiana to Diana Sutherland Roberts and Kenneth Roberts.  Ken had been a resident of Beaumont for seven years and was a store manager in retail sales.

He enjoyed music, singing, computers and games.  Ken also enjoyed writing poetry, lyrics and poems.

Survivors include his son, Andrew Roberts of Boston, Massachusetts; parents, Diana and Kenneth Roberts of Beaumont; sister, Kammy Sanford of Beaumont; nieces, Breanna, Allie and Hayla; and grandmother, Joyce Sutherland.

He is preceded in death by his grandfathers, L.D. Sutherland and Roy Roberts; and grandmother, Dot Roberts.

A gathering of his family and friends will be from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. Sunday, March 28, 2010, at Broussard’s, 1650 North Major Drive, Beaumont.  A family committal will be at Broussard’s Crematorium.
