Ms. Waller was born on June 8, 1925 in Arnaudville, LA. She was one of five children, with two sisters and two brothers.

Ms. Waller moved to the Golden Triangle in the mid-1950s with her husband, James C. Waller, and their three children. She lived most of her life in Nederland, TX, where she was an active member of St. Charles Catholic Community.

She retired from Dr. Ernest Lanier’s office in Groves, TX, where she loved working with people. Ms. Waller enjoyed socializing with co-members of a widowers’ group called D.A.W.N., which gave her many opportunities to travel. She volunteered weekly for the meals-on-wheels program for 15 years, and she enjoyed walking everyday with friends at Central Mall. She loved to cook and garden, and her rose bushes were the pride of her neighborhood.

She is preceded in death by two husbands, her son, Joseph L. Demoruelle, Jr., and three siblings. She is survived by her two daughters - Kaye Jordan and Pam Waller, her five grandchildren – Tom Jordan, Sara Webb, Kasey Mauldin, Sadie Blanchard and Joe Jordan, and her four great-grandchildren – Karson and Kameron Webb, Jenny and Erick Jordan. She is also survived by her sister, Grace Bernard Russell, of Baton Rouge, LA, and several nieces and nephews.

Ms. Waller passed peacefully in the company of her two daughters.
