Otha Frisby Carter, 82, of Silsbee, passed away Tuesday, March 23, 2010, at her residence after a long illness.

Otha was born October 12, 1927, to Henry and Nina Frisby of Hemphill.  She was a life long resident of Silsbee.

She is survived by her daughter, Frankie Williams; grandchildren, James Williams, Pee Wee Williams, Penny Walters and her husband Charles all of Silsbee, Selena Chadwick and her husband Lance of Oklahoma, Booger and his wife Crystal Daigle of Fred; and six great grandchildren.

Otha is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Zeke Carter; son, William H. Hood; and daughter, Brenda McDonald.

Funeral service will be 10:00 A.M. Friday, March 26, 2010, at Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee with burial to follow at Rest Haven Cemetery.  A gathering of family and friends will be Thursday, March 25, 2010, 3:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Broussard’s.
