Mona Lee Wallace, 78, of Nederland, passed away Friday, March 19, 2010 at her residence in Nederland.    Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Tuesday, March 23, 2010 at Broussard’s in Nederland with Dr. David Higgs officiating. Interment will follow at 2:00 PM, at the Morse Cemetery in Buna. A gathering of the family and friends will be from 5 to 8 PM Monday at the mortuary.   Mrs. Wallace was born September 21, 1931 in Roscommon, Michigan to William and Cora Carlson. She has lived in the Nederland area since 1940 and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Nederland.   Mrs. Wallace is survived by her husband, Lewis Wallace of Nederland; two daughters, Linda G. Wallace of Nederland, and Kerrie Wallace of Willis; two sons, Rev. Lewis Allen Wallace and wife Jan of Chattanooga, Tennessee, and Lynn Wallace and wife Susan of Evadale; one sister, Arlene Davis of Nederland; two brothers, Conrad Carlson and wife Jeanette of Port Neches, and Bruce Carlson and wife Pat of Lumberton; seven grandchildren, John David Traweek, Rev. Russell Traweek, Kenny Traweek, Amanda Bowman, Colleen Wallace, Ashley Wright, and Lance Wallace; also ten great grandchildren.
